Free Ice Cream Sandwhiches on Saturday June 3 for the Grand Opening of 720 Sweets Kingsway Vancouver

 

Another sweet treat offer for free is happening this weekend.  This time it’s ice cream sandwiches.  And with sunny weather in the forecast, the timing is perfect!

On Saturday, June 3, 720 Sweets Kingsway will be offering free sandwiches for the grand opening of this new store location.  Beginning at 3pm, they will be giving away the ice cream sandwiches for the first 100 customers that show them that they have either done one of the following:

  1. Followed them on Instagram (@720sweets) and made an Instagram post about our ice cream sandwiches/grand opening
  2. OR have “Liked” them on Facebook and have checked-in to our store

I’d say that’s a pretty easy way to get a tasty treat on a nice spring day!

Whether you’re a doughnut lover or not, Krispy Kreme will sure make you be one once you try their delicious doughnuts.  And now you can try or have one of their doughnuts for free this week!

On Friday, June 2 from 5:30 am-11:00 pm, Krispy Kreme locations are celebrating National Doughnut Day in Canada and the United States.  Luckily, we have a Krispy Kreme location in the Lower Mainland, located in Delta on Scott Road.  Each person will receive one free doughnut of their choice.  There’s lots of mouth-watering doughnuts to choose from, including the original glazed.

Free and Inexpensive Summer Night Markets in Metro Vancouver

Night markets are back in Metro Vancouver for the 2017 Spring and Summer season.  Night markets run on weekends at night and are a favourite activity for locals.  They are inexpensive to attend, with some even offering free admission!  Overall, night markets are an affordable, low cost night of fun where you can enjoy a night of delicious food (seriously, mouth-watering), great deals on merchandise and great entertainment, all in one place.  But that’s not all you’ll find at the night markets, some of them offer kids games and rides, beer gardens (19+),  organic foods including produce and meat, light shows, and so much more! 

If you haven’t been before, be prepared with cash, good shoes (because you’ll want to spend all night there), and an empty stomach.  Each and every market differs from the next, so make sure to check them all out this summer!

Shipyards Night Market

Metro Vancouver Farmers Markets for Spring & Summer 2016

It’s that time of year when farmers markets are in full force.  Metro Vancouver has tons of farmers markets for the spring and summer season that happen every day of the week, except Monday.  You’ll be sure to find one in your city too as each city seems to have at least one farmers market.

Farmers markets are a great outdoor activity to spend a few hours at or even your whole day at!  It’s a great place to find fresh B.C. conventional and organic grown food products.  You may also find meats, seafood, cheese, eggs, jams, salsas, baked goods, and more.  Your entire dinner awaits you at one convenient location!

But farmers markets aren’t just great for fresh foods, they’re also a great place to find handmade crafts like jewellery, fine art, and other great goodies.  Sometimes you’ll even find great live entertainment, food trucks, and fun activities for everyone.  The best part is that they’re all free to attend and run all summer long!

Spring has sprung and summer is on the way!  There’s no better time than now to be outdoors, enjoying the warmer weather.  The solution?  Farmers markets!  Metro Vancouver is full of them!

Farmers markets are a great place to get fresh, healthy, B.C. conventional and organic grown food products!  There’s everything from produce, to meats, to seafood, to cheeses, to eggs, and so much more!  You can also find prepared foods, such as, jams, salsas, baked goods, and more!  Mmm…my mouth is watering now!  Yours too?

Farmers markets aren’t just for food, they’re also a great place to find handmade crafts like jewellery, fine art, and other great goodies.  They usually have live entertainment, food trucks, and fun activities for everyone!  The best part is that they’re all free to attend!  So grab a re-usable bag, put on some sunscreen and head on down!  The fun starts this weekend!

7. Mercato: Italian Market – Vancouver’s first Farmer and Italian Night Market that brings together the tastes of Italy and locally grown produce.  The market features artisanal products, Italian gourmet foods, and fresh fruits and vegetables.  Enjoy live Italian music, and children’s activities that are provided by Italian School teachers.  Click here for more info.
