Walk down memory lane this summer. Free guided walking tours are being offered at the 90 year old Orpheum building in Vancouver.
The Orpheum Tours began on Thursday, July 5 and run until September 29, every Thursday and Saturday at 11 am. The tour is 90 minutes and are hosted by Vancouver Civic Theatres (VCT) in partnership with the Downtown Vancouver BIA and the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame. On these tours, you will learn secrets about the theatre’s history.
The Orpheum building was built in 1927 and is a designated National Heritage Site. It is one of North America’s most beautiful concert halls and hosts international musicians, popular concerts, and unique events. The Orpheum is also home to the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. With so much history, this tour should be on every Vancouverites bucket list this summer.
