Enjoy movies the old fashioned way this summer. A free drive-in movie theatre is back for another year this summer.
Every Wednesday night from July 4 – August 29, you can enjoy a free movie from the comfort of your own car. The Starlight Theatre Drive-In Movie Series in Richmond will hold 200 vehicles each night and will also offer front row seating for pedestrians. Parking and seating is on a first come, first served basis. If you end up being too early though, Lansdowne Centre restaurants will be offering drink and dinner specials before each show with the option of having dinner delivered right to your car.
The movies will begin at sunset on a huge screen, but the gates will open at 6:30 pm. Each Wednesday night, a different movie will be featured. There is lots of variety in the movie schedule, giving guests the perfect option to find a movie they’ll like. Audio for the movie will be broadcasted over FM radio for cars. If you haven’t been to a drive-in movie theatre, this is the perfect time to go to one as it’s completely free.
