Meat lovers rejoice! The Annual BBQ Off the Bypass returns to Langley for its 11th year.
BBQ off the Bypass brings the best of the best BBQ teams throughout North America to compete in five different categories of chicken, ribs, brisket, pork butt and an open choice category. The teams compete for trophies and cash prizes and will win based on the most points in each category.
So why would you want to come to this mouth-watering event to be tempted? Because you can enjoy BBQ samples for free!
The free admission event not only offers samples, but it offers live music, displays and tasty vendors. And if you’re not a meat lover, there will be the “Great BC Bake Off” happening on site too! The Bake Off is an annual pie competition and there’s even an amateur baking contest open to the public, so if you’re feeling competitive and know you’ve got the best pie, it’s time for your debut!
The event takes places on Sunday, September 11 from 10 am-4 pm. Although this is a free admission event, they’ll have donation boxes set up at both entrances. It is encouraged to make a donation as donations will be supporting TinyKittens in Langley.
