Stretch out and relax before your next flight to your Canadian destination. A new pilot program for yoga is taking flight at YVR this summer.
YVR and YYoga are offering departing travellers a space to self-guide their own practice of yoga, meditation or stretching. The free event happens every Friday and will begin on July 15 and run until August 26. On site, they’ll have a YYoga instructor from 10 am-2 pm, where they’ll be there to help travellers with any questions or suggestions on yoga poses and stretches that particularly help with travelling.
The program, YYoga@YVR is being offered to departing travellers to Canadian destinations only. No registration is required and mats will be provided. So whether you’re a newbie or experienced yogi, this is definitely something worth trying to help make your flight more relaxing.
YYoga@YVR is part of the popular seven-year running event, YVR Take-Off Fridays, which offers free activities and entertainment on Fridays through the summer. For more information, please visit the official YVR website.
