Don’t let Sunday blues get you down. Instead nurture your soul and rock on with free concerts every Sunday. Free concerts will be happening all summer long in Port Moody.
The free Summer Sunday Concerts begin July 10 and run until September 4. Every Sunday, the concerts will begin at 2 pm at Rocky Point Park in Maple Ridge. At the event, you’ll find free all day parking, located at the Inlet Soccer Fields.
The concert series will run 9 weeks and will feature a variety of music, like, blues, soul, R&B, Funk and Reggae. As an added bonus for this series, there will be a weekend of free concerts and a rib fest happening from Friday July 22 – Sunday July 24, which will feature 16 bands and 23 hours of live music with some of the finest ribs around (at cost).
This lineup of artists for the 9 weeks won’t disappoint, as they all seem to bring something special to the crowds, from being Vancouver favourites to Juno award-winning bands, they’re nothing short of amazing. The event has great reviews and is a hit with the locals! So whether you’re a local or a tourist for the day, this is one event to check out in Port Moody!
