Metro Vancouver Farmers Markets for Spring & Summer 2016

strawberries and vegetables on table

It’s that time of year when farmers markets are in full force.  Metro Vancouver has tons of farmers markets for the spring and summer season that happen every day of the week, except Monday.  You’ll be sure to find one in your city too as each city seems to have at least one farmers market.

Farmers markets are a great outdoor activity to spend a few hours at or even your whole day at!  It’s a great place to find fresh B.C. conventional and organic grown food products.  You may also find meats, seafood, cheese, eggs, jams, salsas, baked goods, and more.  Your entire dinner awaits you at one convenient location!

But farmers markets aren’t just great for fresh foods, they’re also a great place to find handmade crafts like jewellery, fine art, and other great goodies.  Sometimes you’ll even find great live entertainment, food trucks, and fun activities for everyone.  The best part is that they’re all free to attend and run all summer long!

Let’s get started!  Here is Penny Lavish’s guide to the spring and summer 2016 farmers markets in Metro Vancouver.
