Easter has come and gone, but Spring has sprung!  You can enjoy Spring this week by seeing all of the beautiful flowers and trees that are blooming, by going to Tulips of the Valley Festival or by going to Sakura Days Japan Fair at VanDusen Botanical Garden.  There are lots of other fun events, like film festivals, activities for families, and Expo’s.  For more details and events, below is a list of “Frugal Fun!” for everyone, for the week of Monday, April 6 to Sunday, April 12.  Share any events and activities I may have forgotten, below in the comments!  Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog by e-mail or RSS feed!

1. Adopt a Tree for Free – HotBox in Kitsilano will be giving away free Sitka Spruce or Colorado Blue Spruce seedlings to any of their valued customers.  Click here for more details.

16. Gordon MacMillan Southam Observatory – Star gazing at it’s finest!  The observatory has a 1/2 metre Cassegrain telescope to see the night skies!  There is staff there to guide you answer your questions.  For more info, click here.
