Decorated eggs for Easter

Easter is just around the corner and Vancouver is starting the festivities early!  So put on your bunny ears and grab a basket!  Below is a list of places in Vancouver and Lower Mainland that you can start hopping for eggs!  Families can enjoy these Easter events for less on Saturday, March 28.

Please note: Age restrictions may apply.

1. Stanley Park Easter Train – You can ride the Easter train, visit the Easter Bunny, go on an Easter egg hunt, participate in games and craft workshops, and get your face painted.  Click here for more details.

Where: Pipeline Rd., Vancouver, BC at Stanley Park.  Click here for directions.

Price: Adult (accompanying child) – $3.50, Child (17 and under) – $8.75 (taxes included). Face painting costs extra.

When: Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29 10am-5pm (last train at 5pm and last egg hunt at 4:30pm).

2. Breakfast with Bunny – Celebrate with the Easter bunny with a continental breakfast, crafts, entertainment, and an Easter egg hunt!  This event sells out, so be sure to buy your ticket in advance!  Click here for more details.

Where: 4397 W 2nd Ave., Vancouver, BC at West Point Grey Community Centre.

Price: $7 per person

When: Saturday, March 28 10am-12pm

3. Easter at Wesbrook Village – Meet the Easter bunny, Kids (under 10) can go on a scavenger Easter egg hunt and make crafts!  Click here for more info.

Where: 3378 Wesbrook Mall, Vancouver, BC at Wesbrook Village Welcome Centre at Wesbrook Mall, UBC.

Price: Free

When: Saturday, March 28 12pm-2pm

4. Easter Egg Hunt at City Square Shopping Centre–  Cookie decorating (min. donation $3), balloon twister, bunny mascot, face painting, puppet shows, Easter egg hunt, and giggle booth!  Easter egg hunt map must be picked up between 12pm-12:30pm or until they run out.  Prizes and an entry into the contest are awarded for completed maps; click here for rules.  Must be under the age of 14 and accompanied by an adult to qualify for prizes.  Click here for a list of the days activities and more info.

Where: Suite 168 – 555 W 12th Ave., Vancouver, BC at City Square Shopping Centre.

Price: Free.  Cookie decorating by min. donation of $3.

When: Saturday, March 28 12pm-3pm

5. Easter Bunny Hop and Hunt – There will be games, crafts, face painting, and an egg hunt.  Parent participation required.  Children 1-12 years.  Must register here.  Click here for more info.

Where: 1200 Glen Pine Court, Coquitlam, BC at Glen Pine Pavilion.

Price: $8 per child

When: Saturday, March 28 10am-12pm

6. Easter Carnival – Kids (2-6yrs), join the Easter bunny for an Easter egg hunt, crafts, balloon making, face painting, and play time.  Parent participation is required.  Sign up here.

Where: 480 Broughton St., Vancouver, BC at Coal Harbour Community Centre.

Price: $5, $6 drop-in

When: Saturday, March 28 10am-12pm

7. Easter Eggstravaganza – Kids (3-8yrs) can go on an outdoor Easter egg hunt and meet the Easter bunny!  Click here to register.

Where: 801 W 22nd Ave., Vancouver, BC at the auditorium at Douglas Park Community Centre.

Price: $5

When: Saturday, March 28 11am-12:30pm
